Report on the timetable for consideration of the National Health
Service Finance (Wales) Bill
1. On 30 September 2013, a Government Bill, ‘National Health Service Finance (Wales) Bill’, was introduced in the Assembly.
2. On 1 October 2013, the Business Committee agreed, in accordance with Standing Order 26.9, to refer the Bill to the Finance Committee but agreed to bypass Stage 1 committee consideration.
3. Business Committee further agreed that Stage 2 proceedings should be completed by 8 November 2013, subject to the general principles of the Bill being agreed by the Assembly.
